Kim Kardashian is attempting to try to take over the world with her new shapewear line.
If you haven’t had the chance to check out Kim Kardashian’s Instagram page for her website, SKIMS, then you really need to! The 90’s style infomercials are hilarious and quirky. One of our favorites is Kris Jenner raving about SKIMS to her friends. It just makes us want to run out and purchase everything on her website.
SKIMS Solutionwear is loved by consumers everywhere but the only problem with its huge popularity is that every time we go to buy something on the SKIMS website, it is already sold out. Thankfully, Nordstrom is coming to the rescue and are already stocking more than 25 of their stores in the United States on the coveted compression undergarments.

Kim Kardashian is so excited about this new partnership that she announced on her SKIMS Twitter account that she would personally be available at the Nordstrom’s flagship store in New York City along with her husband, Kayne West.
Feburay 5, 2020 was the official launch day for SKIMS at the Nordstrom store on West 57th St at 11:30am. Kim warned us that she would have a list of surprises for us but nobody imagined that she would kick-off the event by bringing SKIMS to life, by using real human mannequins. The live mannequins came in all shapes and sizes, which perfectly represents the whole concept of Kim’s shapewear collection.
Kim promised to take a picture with the first 50 people who showed up to the launch, which caused frenzy. People started lining up around the block since 2:30 am.
Kim Kardashian officially launched her shapewear line September of last year and within the first twenty minutes; she sold more than $2 million dollars of inventory. Since then she has expanded her line to include a collection of loungewear and sleepwear. This partnership with Nordstrom is the first time that her iconic shapewear brand will be available at a brick & mortar retailer.
Nordstrom was the ideal match for SKIMS, because it is renowned for its superior customer service and a long history of inclusive sizes. Kim Kardashian’s whole collection, including her best sellers will be available online at nordstrom.com and at the moment only 25 stores will be carrying the full range of SKIMS styles, inclusive sizing and skin tone colors.
At the moment, in-store you can find her top selling collections: SolutionwearTM, Fits Everybody Underwear and her coveted accessories such as body tape and pasties. Kim Kardashian promises to release more products each month, so be sure to stay updated.
This isn’t Nordstrom’s first partnership with celebrity brands, in the past they have collaborated with Beyonce, Arielle Charnas and many more.
